Well for some reason my car is reading the outside temp wrong.. for example here is shows 81 but in fact was like 52.. sometimes it shows like 102 and its only 70
Before replacing the temp sensor, you may want to manually reset the temp sensor by pressing the following three buttons at the same time:
Rear Defrost (right most climate button)
Front Defog (2nd right most button)
Fan Speed Increase (4th right most button)
This will force an immediate update of the temperature display. This will clear the problem if the temp sensor is working properly. If not, most likely a new sensor will be needed. It's a $10.00 part.

Also make sure the sensor is properly mounted on the lower right side in front of the fan shroud.

Just to let you know that no car will give you an accurate reading when parked or after sitting for awhile.
Not sure how to fix it but I had a car once that did this but I never fixed it since I was trading it very soon anyway so I just left it. Good luck and I'm sure it's probably just a bad sensor.
It is not in the manual no, but if one of the gurus says it on here, it is always worth a shot. These guys know their stuff, as I am sure you are aware.
