Thought I would take a look and find the Pos and Neg remote terminals just incase I need to use them (especially in the dark). No problem with the Pos but the Neg ?

If it is that bolt at the very front of the block under a wiring harness and near 2 hoses, wow, couldn't GM have found a easier place to put it ? I haven't tried, but I guess you can squeeze in the jumper cable.

Also, is this the place I should plug in my Ctek ?? Seeing this, I guess the cigarette lighter option must be a great seller.

I always jump direct to the battery. Its no problem if you do it right.

Been doing it that way since about 1962, I prefer to use the shortest path for the juice to go over!

For the battery tender I use the first header bolt on the passenger side for the (-). IIRC, the owners manual lists that as one of the remote negative locations. For the (+) I use the remote terminal located under the fuse box door.

You can use any grounded bolt or location that your clamp will attach to.

I've had to charge/jump mine several times. Best place is always right to battery in my opinion and easy access too.
