Default NAV CD Skip Track Controls

Just tried playing a CD for the first time in 11GS. Could not figure out how to skip a track. Looked in the manual (page 25) it said to use the seek arrows either up or down. I do not see a seek arrow in the diagram on the page or on my Nav screen in the car. So, how do I skip a track ???

Throw the CDs away and get an iPod. (CD support absolutely SUCKS in these units - I swear CD support was an afterthought)

Trust me, you'll be happier...

That's funny--I just had the same issue yesterday. I never did figure out how to do it on the NAV screen. I just ended up using the "seek" arrows on the steering wheel.

Search is your friend. Was this a store bought CD? Some of the issues related to mp3 cds can be found in the sticky section at the top of the page.

Just did the search as suggested and it looks like there is a hard button about the volume ****. I will take a look later and check it out.

Thanks

Both the hard key arrows above the volume **** and the up and down buttons on the steering wheel will change the track either direction when playing a CD.

How about the '06 without the steering wheel controls? I swear that skip track worked for me when I first got the car but now I have to either scan the CD or hold the ff button to get to the next track.

TIA if anyone knows.
