How much difference is there in the strenght of the differential and axles of the GS and Z-06?
Do they use the same units? I seem to recall - but don't remember where I saw it - that the two use different units. If that is so, anybody know what the hp/torque limits are (given goal of long-term durability/reliability)?

Oh boy....... big debate/argument over this one with no definitive resolution that I've seen.
Some, even some who "should know", say that manual trans GS's use the same differential as the Z06. Some say the case is the same but the internals are different. Most say they are totally different.
I don't know.
