Default new vette?

Is there going to be a new body style (c7?) coming out? I'm out of the loop. If so, when?

There have been several threads about this lately. The C7 won't come out until either 2013 for the 2014 model year or 2014 for the 2015 model year. Nobody really knows.

And no one knows what it's going to look like.

And you know there's a separate C7 forum, right?

lol i just found the c7 forum section, apparently it's been a while since i've been on here. sorry guys.

"Reuss announced that the next generation Corvette, the C7, would be produced in Bowling Green and that 250 jobs would be created.
He added that the current generation will continue for about two more years while work happens behind the scenes to update the facility and ensure the Corvette will continue to be the true American sports car built here for many years to come. The C7 model is predicted to be debuted Spring of 2013 for a 2014 model year Corvette."

I suspect 2015 model year because after all, it's not a unit that sells 100k + units/year....so, while GM/we want to keep Vette exclusivly American, top line performance while still achieving good economy and providing excellent value to 'us' loyal, die-hard fans/customers.....so the decision makers have to/must keep budget in proportion so that means slow but steady....doing it right the first time.
