I ordered a black GS with an Ebony and Red interior..(Hopefully by June 1 it arrives)
I love the two tone interiors..sets them apart a bit from all the rest. IMO
You'll like it, I've got a Cyber Gray GS with Heritage Pkg, red hash marks, ebony/red interior and Comp Gray wheels. I thought long and hard before ordering, it was between Black with ebony/red, Cyber Gray with ebony/red and Crystal Red with ebony/cashmere. Judging by the comments I've had on the car, I think I made the right choice. The one addition that really sets the interior off is the DSVettes console lid with red sides and ebony top.
I think they're great. Especially the 4lt, 3lz leather options. That's why I upgraded to dark titanium/ebony!! I can honestly say however that my opinion excludes red...just not a fan of the red/black combo

Rugs are black most of the time
What is strange, at least to me, is the fact that the rugs and interior trim are all black regardless of the interior color except for cashmere. And, some models have the storage console the color of the seats/door panels and some models have the storage console as black regardless of interior color except for cashmere.
My personal opinion is that the lack of chrome and the subdued lighting on the Corvette interiors makes the ebony interior too dark. It is like sitting in a cave.
I paid a significant amount of money to have the interior of my 07 changed from ebony to tan (cashmere). But, the upholsterer recommended I leave the rugs and trim black. Does that make mine two tone?

I have a two-tone Ebony/Titanium on a 2007 Machine Silver body. Every couple of months I clean and preserve using Zaino products. This October the car will be 5 years old. It's not a daily driver but it does get used. No problems so far.
Edit: Just wanted to add that those 4LT's and the Red with the Red/Ebony are really good looking.
It is OK to have an opinion
It is OK to have a different opinion then someone else
It is OK to debate these opinions in a civil, friendly, fun way
It is OK to learn something about the other persons point of view in the process
The two-tone interiors are a huge plus. They are being used by many manufacturers as premium interiors. Easy to live with and get a lot of compliments. They add life to the interior IMO.
I like the 2 tone interiors. That's why I ordered my car with Ebony & Dark Titanium.
I'm not sure why one would think that it would go out of style. There's been multi color interiors for many years in different cars. Get what you like. You're going to be looking at it a lot, so I wouldn't compromise on the interior that you most want.
I wanted the Ebony/Titanium interior color combo when I was purchasing either JSB car, but just couldn't find one within a
reasonable distance that also had the exact other equipment (or not) that I desired.
I like the two-tone look in the C6 line-up. I saw one that was AW exterior with Ebony/Red interior--looked terrific IMO.
Classic C1 colors on a C6...
I have turned mine into a two tone interior for the most part. The GM stuff is just so CHEAP and poorly made that I figured it wouldn't last 5 years, nevermind 10!DSVETTES steering wheel, console door, shift boot, ebrake boot.Haven't gotten to the $eat$ yet! I like and prefer two tone over non two tone all day long as long as it's tastefully done.To much in this case is not good!
I've had 3 C6 coupes. The first one was solid cashmere. The second was solid ebony. The third is my favorite and it is two tone titanium. Ever since I first saw that combination I have wanted it. Like Cybernetic Medic I plan on continuing the contrasting look with flint floor mats from Patrick. Mine will have the silver JAKE for a different look.
I like what I like but enjoy hearing the individual tastes of others too. Keep those pics coming, that's how I came to admire the two tone in the first place. Maybe I'll see something new for my next Vette!
all I will say is that when I picked my vette with two tone seats up at the museum there were just 4 cars there, mine and 3 Z06's, mine had the biggest crowd, everyone was wondering what "special" model it was
OK, that was 07, the start of the two tone era, but still it gets lots of looks
