Wow, all I do is get the oil changed, check the tire air pressure and off I go. I guess an understatement would be that you are a bit more thorough than me.

Hi All
The Truth is I get together with other Vette Friends and we help each other. We share knowledge equipment and labor. The coast saving will pay for the tools the first or second time. You will appreciate what it takes and know it was done correctly. Maintenance is a Pay a little Now or rebuild a lot later. My Dad was an Airplane Mechanic then became
a Surgeon He tough me both people or maniacal things will not work as well or as long and can kill You without maintenance.
Remember the Cars bring us together the Friendships Keep us Together

PS the Above was done in less then two hours.

well I think your dad the surgeon was right about the maniacal things not working well. yes, I'm sure some of what you do is overkill, but hey! it's a Corvette! and this is CorvetteForum.com where people do things like this!!!! so, as the saying goes, drive it in good health!!!

Overkill for sure but why not. As I remind my wife often the Corvette is my hobby and that's what I do. Nothing wrong with that.

yours is a two year old car (could've been produced in mid-'09) w. 16K miles on it. my minimum would be 1, 4, 7 and brake fluid.

I ordered my car and got it April 2010. Just changed the brake fluid as I powder coated my rotors, calipers etc. Thanks.

Fuel system cleaner is unnecessary.

Oil analysis is also a waste of time and money.

2 power steering fluid changes and trans fluid changes seems to be overkill.

Everything else looks fine.

Hi All
Both the Power steering and the trans fluid were dirty I use all Synthetic fluids I know they still have lubricating qualities I wonder if they must have trash from the machining when made. Either way
It is cheep insurance on expensive parts.

At about 15.5K miles i did

Oil and Filter
Trans Fluid
Clutch Fluid
Brake Fluid in Master cylinder
Power Steering Fluid
Drained the radiator and refiled about half capacity

Good Luck Have fun

Wow your list is impressive. I thought I was doing good this year. This is my list.

Changed oil
Radiator flush
Air cleaners
Cabin filter
New Red Top battery
Pulled tires and cleaned wheel wells
Put in a bottle of techron
Have brake flush scheduled for Friday.
Still need to get differential fluid changed.

Non maintenance items

Splash guards
Top Flight license plate bracket
Vettebin

We are an obsessive bunch but hey, my car is my hobby.
