Just curious if anyone went ahead and did this on a C6?

I have them on mine. I found the bulbs on e-bay. I like the look better with the yellow bulbs. They work well in the fog.

I replaced my stock driving lights with 3000K HID ones.

Now I can burn the paint off the car in front of me

Cool, So let's pol the audience,

I have white bulbs in now and am thinking to make them yellow, would this make my car TOO YELLOW?

My only concern is would it clash with the DRL amber. IMO they need to be the same color as the DLR's.
