I'm looking for someone that has a GM shop manual that can look up something for me! There is a YELLOW plug under the passenger seat that's for the Airbag and seat belt tensor. It's a duel plug stacked plug... with 4 wires going into it! The manual will show A B C D... etc with the color wire shown. On cars without side air bags there are only 2 wires and it's a single plug... it's a stacked plug with side air bags.
I need to know what color wires are at each position on the plug end that goes under the carpet. I do not need the info for the seat side. I will be ordering a GM manual today but if anyone has the info I would greatly appreciate it. My car is an 06 coupe....

A B C D positions... No way of knowing looking at a single plug where ALL 4 wires should be placed. Tried several combos but with 4 wires it's a 256 combo guess..

,,,,Like to see if they show a SINGLE 4 terminal plug?
Thanks
If you have a number be happy to call you.

Craig,
I'm wondering if the yellow 4-position connector you have is TWO yellow 2-position connectors on mine (I have a 2006 CPE, too). granted, I haven't looked at my physical car yet; just the images. So I'm wondering if a combination of the two plugs might equal 1 of yours? What color(s) of wire do you have on yours (including stripes)? I can try to drill down from there.

The only plug I see that is designated ABCD is the Memory Seat Switch
A= White
B=PU
C= Red/WH
D=BN
I'll check on the Air bag stuff now.

In the SIR section, there isn't any "connector" with ABCD. I see A1,A2,B1,B2 for Inflatable restraint.
A1=YE
A2=OG
B1=GY
B2=PU
I see Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Seat Belt Tensioner with A,B,C
A=L-BU
B=TN
C=PU
Inflatable seat position Switch Left
A=L-Gn
B=PK
Inflatable seat position Switch Right
A=L-BU
B=PK
A1=YE
A2=OG
B1=GY
B2=PU

This is what it look like! Disregard the white tape as it stripped part of the wire... the 1 pic is the seat end... obviously. This is really starting to PMO!!! 4 F'ing wires and can't figure it out... The TOP of the plug has printed... A B C on one side.. D E F on the other.. B and E ARE not used... it's some sort of double plug.. I know it's the Airbag plug.. it says Delphi PART# PA66... I think it just refers to the material type. Everything so far shows the 4 position plug.... not a 6 position plug!! Did I just get lucky and they made one ? Notice the wire color.... it's green and yellow but at the end it was sort of all green? No clue WTF they were doing.... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

A HUGE thanks to eboggs for physically checking his car! The freaken color coded wires DO NOT match the color code used for this AIR BAG plug. REAL NICE!! His car happened to have the same color coded wires as mine which DOES NOT match the OFFICIAL GM manual..
Switched the terminals and the air bag dash warning light immediately went out..
Get a little nervous switching around wires for air bags..
Now just have to bolt everything back together.....

Hey Craig
Glad you got it solved!!
I just got your PM, but I left home he beginning of the week and have had limited access to the internet. And of course my manuals are at home - but it sounds like they're not correct anyway!
Many thanks to other members, especially eboggs_jkvl, for helping Craig get his problem fixed.

It was really getting frustrating because 3 sets of manual were checked including my dealer and ALL showed the same wiring.. which CLEARLY is not correct! If not for eboggs I'd still be scratching my azz trying to get it right...
But that's for the Seat side.. not the carpet side!!! The plug on the seat is fine.... it's the sob in the floor that's driving me nuts!! Look at the first 3 pics.... the pins are numbered on the plug.. A B C D E F with B and E not used!! So i have 4 wires in a 6 pin plug... really not sure why it's different then everything that's been shown so far!! I talked to the dealership and they show me the SAME 4 wire plug... not that 6 I have... Both sides are the same EXCEPT the freaken wires are different colors on the DRIVE SIDE... so that's no help at all....

Sorry, but no idea where the picture diagram is from that long ago. Worst case if you can’t figure it out I can pull the seat up and take pics of how mine is wired. Amazing that some cars are wired differently than the GM Manual shows???
