Information is important. Carfax, though unreliable, can be informative and if it catches something bad then it's worth the effort (and maybe cost) to get it. Get a GM VIS report from the dealer if it's a GM dealer. If it isn't then you can ask here by posting the VIN but might want to start a new thread for that so the members who can get it will see it. Just title it "need GM VIS". If the car is stock, great. If it has been modded, do you know what to look for or how to tell if it's right or been abused? Most advise to buy a stock, unmolested car, especially if you're new to Vettes. Good luck.

The car belongs to an individual. It's his third. I've had a '82 and a '07. The car is stock. With only 10,2xx miles as far as I know the only service has been an oil change. I'll ask more questions. I will get a carfax. The '07 I had been in for a squeeky roof and a transaxle oil change.
