Default "corvette wave" please continue to give them!

I have to admit, I make it a point to wave at EVERY Corvette since when I bought mine 4 years ago and to be honest, its kind of a cool feeling. You feel apart of some elite community.

All you folks out there, continue the tradition!

Porsche owners only try to race each other...

Quick story. I have a funny habit...This has always been the case for motorcycists as well. I've been riding for 30 years, and often find myself waving at bikes while driving a vehicle!

I'd love to be able to give a wave, but the rainy weather in NJ is keeping the Vette in the garage... Hopefully soon..

When I happen to notice another corvette I will wave but more often than I would like to admit by the time I realize there is another vette it is too late to wave.

I wave and I wave but rarely do I get the return wave. Frustrated, I tell my gf that I'm done being the only idiot waving. After a moment of silence, she says, maybe they can't see you waving because of your tinted windows?

I would totally agree with this, I know that it is difficult for me to see drivers in cars with tinted windows. There have been many instances where a driver has gotten frustrated with me because I haven't seen them indicate for me to go first at an intersection. If I see someone wave, I always wave back.

I always wave and seem to get one in return about 75% of the time.

My gf has fun teasing me, when she catches me. She has gotten to the point where , if she sees a bike coming towards us, while we are driving, she will study my hands, to see if I flinch.

My success at this is barely above 30% in East Texas . It gets frustrating when they don't wave back but I'm gonna keep trying!
