Default Need an Inexpensive Diagnostic Reader

Have had a couple of odd things happening in my baby lately. Would like to have an inexpensive diagnostic reader so when i go to the dealer and murphys law takes over "Problem only happens in my presence" I can say well here are the codes......Any Help?

Any that you find, make sure that they are CANBUS enabled.

Search on DIYDiagnostics and have a look at the CAN OBDII code reader. $59.99.

The problem is that most of these code readers will only get the PCM/ECU codes and not the other systems. True shame that Chevrolet took away the DIC function to read all of the codes as we have in the C-5's.

fleabay has the cable that connects to your laptop with OBD software. Cheap and I think it has streaming data capabilities that cheap handhelds don't have. No quick delivery since it comes from overseas.

There is also a bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the OBD port that communicates with a smart phone. It does have streaming capabilities.

I've been experimenting with one on my android phone.
