Wow you open up a hot box. Didn't understand "polish chrome wheels till all black residue is removed" ? You mean Alum Wheels ? Try aerospace 303 for your vinyl needs. Thats as far as I got. Oh, for your leather cleaner the vets are Vinyl enpregnated so it is best to use aero - 303 or another vinyl product. I see you use Zanio well that will make a few people happy on this site. So how many awards have you racked up ?

Detailing my Corvette has been an evolution. On http://vettenut.com/ the entry "Detailing your Corvette" has what I have learned over time.
So you 'polish' your vette with Rejex, and then top it with a "polimer" afterwards?
No offense, but this contradicts even basic detailing. Polishing is the removal of defects in the paint, something Rejex cannot do. Rejex is actually a paint sealant, so it will not polish the paint. And topping it with another polymer coating defeats the purpose, since it will either remove the Rejex, or not bond.
Also, cotton is not the best product to remove wax and sealant, because the threads can scratch paint. Probably not the ultra hard Vette clearcoat, but some of the softer ones it could.

I'm with KneeDragr on this one - cotton WILL create swirl marks on the Corvette clearcoat.
I have many suggestions but I'm going to bite my tongue here.
If Cotton wasn't good then why would Zaino tell you to use them? I have bought some awesome Microfiber towels I use and I also have a stash of extremely soft cotton towels and I use the cotton one's with Zaino as it recommends. I'm not saying you guys are 100% wrong but it doesn't make sense. I think the Zaino experts know a little bit about detailing cars. I guess I have a Velocity Yellow car which isn't going to show swirls like a dark colored car so I'm not worried but I would still leave it to the experts to tell us what to use.

Wolfie??? What ya got?
The story I heard is that Zaino no longer sells cotton towels because users were reporting that they scratched their paint.
