My 2005 has the switch for selective magnetic ride(f55)but doesn't seem to work and this feature is not listed on the glove box.What is the best way to verify if this feature is or is not on this car?

You can always find what you have posted in either your User CP (control panel) on the top red bar, by selecting Search, advanced search and typing your user name and selecting "Threads started by user" or "Posts by user" and lastly by selecting the My Recent Topics button on the red bar above which will give you the choice of viewing topics you have created or participated in for up to the last 7 days.

If it isn't listed on the RPO codes in your glove box, you don't have it unless it was added aftermarket. Check for wires going to your shocks.
