At least you're not talking about the rocker panel AND a carbon fiber rocker panel extension. Whew!
You can say that again.

Oh No! Agree..that first sound is like "wth was that? did I do what I think I did? Did that just happen?" Then reality hits and you realize you have to back out of the situation and hear it all over again. That's when you want to
Don't beat yourself up, cut yourself some slack, in fact a lot of slack. To error is human, that is why we carry insurance. No big deal. Call your insurance company and tell the what happened. Get it fixed. All is well. Not a serious as ten thousand things much worse. Be happy you have a Corvette to damage in the first place. Breath deep and smile.

Good news; its the rocker panel and all should be OK
Did the same thing to my Cyber Grey Z06. The dealership had just finished detailing the car for delivery and parked it right next to a really high curb on the passenger side of the car. It was brand new and the salesperson watched me scrape 6 inches down the side of the rocker panel without saying a word. I was @#$%#$%^ on fire.
Cyber grey is tri color, blue and silver metal flake, and I was concerned about the paint matching. Only cost me $300 and all was perfect. I was estatic. Thought it would cost at least $1K.
Point is all should be OK so don't stress. Repair costs should be minimal for you
