I just got my 2011 GS a month ago, and a friend of mine that runs a Chevy Dealership called me today to tell me that they have a 2010 ZR1 (Brand New), without NAV, that he will give me for $5k behind invoice, plus the $3k dealer cash, plus my $3000 loyalty.
Friend of mine just got a new 2011 GS vert last month. He just emailed today and said he took his 2008 Z06 in for a oil change and dealer made him a offer he couldn't refuse on a new ZR1. So now he has a new GS and a new ZR1. They must be dealing on the ZR1's

And it has 0%/72 month financing.
I would be well under $100k out the door.
I hate this.
Why do you "hate" your situation. You have a great Car, one year newer. And, close to half the price. Use some of the monetary difference to mod the GS. A great platform. Or, trade the GS. Take your bath. And, buy the ZR1. Either way you will have a great Car.
Sounds like a good deal... maybe your wife would like it. (Assuming you are married) if not & you wanna spend the money I will pay the shipping.. send it to me. . Tonya
That means you must have had some doubts about what you really wanted when you bought your GS. If your really kicking yourself, then go for it. I agree with previous poster about checking ins costs. It WILL be considerably more.
If you could have both cars it would work. The ZR1 is a very high end car even though its a Chevy. It has very exotic mechanicals that not many can fix when things go south. That much power and speed does not come simple.
Think about how you use the car, then decide.
We use ours as a DD and high speed road tripper; we want the A6 and the removable transparent top.
If someone offered me a ZR-1 as an even trade, I'd decline unless I could sell it immediately and get a Corvette that was more appropriate for my uses.
No current Corvette is "better" than another, they are just different for different people.
Sometimes, when I read these threads, the text is fixed within a tilted background - you know, like holding a picture with a slight tilt that changes the depth of what you see. So, as I read this thread, there appears to be far more depth than perhaps intended. Man - these words are REALLY tilted. I hope this helps.
If it doesn't have navigation, than it is a 1ZR package. I picked up my 2010 ZR1 with the 1ZR package with chromes for 92500 back in January. I hope this helps.
