That's been out for awhile so I doubt that's the C6.....
....but seriously, back in 1968 (actually '67) - Hot Wheels released the '68 Corvette 6-months before the real one !
....GM almost 'sued' Mattel for that stunt, but since it was 'free' publicity they let it go.
How did this happen ? - Well, the designer for Mattel 'peeked' at the drawing board at GM and copied it - it was a guess - a darn good one !!!
So keep an eye out in the toy section ! :yesnod:
i wonder if Gm engineers came up with a secret way of getting consumer interest! They have hidden cameras in the department stores trained on the Hotwheels display and they monitor to see how many people look interested in the Hotwheels display!? :jester :troll
As far as I know, that display on the hotwheels has been there for years....
On top of that, it looks very much like a Supra (with diff front end) rather than the concept drawings of the C6.
Hot Wheels has a Camaro Concept car, released in 2000, called Muscle Tone. It was what they felt a new Camaro should look like. That is, if it wasn't KILLED by the General. The car looks great, like a modern first gen Camaro.
