First vette
It took almost 30 years, but I was finally able to get into a vette. Yesterday, I bought an '05 vert, Z51, Preferred Group Equipment, polished wheels and Borla exhaust.
I learned much on this forum about vettes and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Thank you to everyone on the forum.

R&L--I know what you mean. I had the biggest grin all the way home yesterday and I keep looking into the garage to make sure it's still there
Tide--I've been actively looking for about year. I thought I was going to get into a C5, as they are more in my price range, but my wife (of all people) told me to buy the vette I want. I knew I wanted a C6 vert, and 6-speed manual. It was info on this forum that convinced me to get one with the Z51 package. So when I saw this one, it fit the bill and I pulled the trigger. Got a good price for my BMW 545i and wrote a check for the difference. Good luck in your search for the right one for you.

Congrats! I am on my 1st as well. Always been a big fan,ever since Iwas 4, and saw a brand new 1968 model. Blew my mind! Finally got one. Couldn't be more pleased!

That new vette feeling never goes away. 
I have been driving them since I was 17 and now 25 vettes later I still get that new vette feeling and excitement every time I get another new one.
