CONGRATS!
I, myself, am in a similar situation. I bought my '08 C6 when the first C7 delay was announced. I'm currently lusting for a widebody, but am on the fence as to trading it for a GS, doing a conversion, or just waiting for the C7!
Thank you all for all the goodwill and congrats I always say vette people are a special breed.
She has Chrome wheels, I wanted the comp grey but I think the chrome will be great also, 3lt automatic (bad knee) with nav does any body know if the nav system works any better in the newer years I had it in my 06 and it left alot to be desired... anyways I'm proud to even be able to get a new car with this economy I hope all you out there are doing well and have your health that puts all this in perspective.
Good move the C7 is due out in 2 years and do we really want the first production run, so your 3 years away, I am about to pull the plug on a 2011 or 12
I was going to to get a 2010 GS Vert but with the great deals going on the 2011 I will get from Tommy Jr a CRM/Vert with F55, the Mrs had back surgery in 05 and hip replacement in 09. If I can make the ride any for enjoyable for her, the F55 is a must! I could live with out it but when your not in the other persons shoes you never know the smallest bumps can be discomfortable!
