Seems like pipes are pipes and if you have a 3" exhaust and order 3" exhaust component (x-pipe) they will fit together no matter the brand. Consumer experience teaches us to be on the look out for brand specific connections. I just bought a Borla ATAK system and the ends of the pipes do not look like anything is keyed to only fit a Borla X-pipe.
I'm going to bet without knowing the answer for sure, that any x-pipe will fit.
AS LONG AS IT'S THE RIGHT SIZE THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!Check your c6 though,it may already have one.I thought GM switched to X PIPES in the c6...they make no difference in the long run anyway, just some burble reduction if you care about that stuff.
I've heard it called an H pipe here on the forum that is installed on the C6
I think the 05 has the H PIPE,which might be better then an x pipe anyway but that's a discussion for another day.Maybe it was 08 that they changed to the x pipe.Mine has an OEM x pipe.
I'm going to crawl under the car today and see what I've got. The only purpose of me wanting an x pipe is to decrease the burble/pop that aftermarket exhaust creates. Thanks for the feedback.

I can't remember if it will actually do that or increase the burble.Good luck.
