Default Build sheet?

I have heard they place the build sheet somewhere on the car after production. Is this true and if so can someone tell me where to look for it?

You have to look on the National Corvette Museum's website to find, and order, your build sheet. If you are looking for the decal that lists the options, by RPO, look at the inside of your glovebox door.

Default Build Sheet

Unless you just happen to be there when she comes off the line...followed my 05' all the way down and had everyone that touched it actually sign the build sheet..something I really treasure.......

You can order it from the Corvette Museum. Go to their website and click on the link. I think you just type in the VIN. I think it's about 20 bucks laminated.

Also, a slightly different route. I'm not sure, but I think there is more than one build sheet for each car and apparently the plant ships them over to museum in big boxes. There was a thread on here about a week or so ago about people emailing this woman there and getting all the original build sheets for the car.

This is different from the build sheet reproduction you order from the museum store. These are the originals, with the notes, grease, etc.

I just ordered the official one from the museum. Also ordered the window sticker.

Search the threads. It's on this forum. Plus, it may take a little longer to get them. And they don't have all of them, just the one they are able to save - or remember to.

What you heard is no longer true. At the end of the line they used to be placed in the passenger side fender before it was closed up. That practice was discontinued some years ago.

If you are planning to keep your car for a while this is really a cool thing to have. It bridges your Corvette back to the factory line and IMO completes the package.
