Default Testing the new camera

Just some quick photos to test my new camera. The cell phone wasn't cutting it anymore. Close up photos of the brakes are in Post 15

Looks good... With a little more Sun as natural light, I'm sure they'd look even better.

What's the best method for blacking them out? Now that someone has mentioned them - I keep looking at them. Never really paid them much attention before.

Lowering should (hopefully) take place next week. Just trying to get into the shop my boss recommended.

Its my greeting name on the dash as well.

I used dental floss and WD-40 to remove the chiclets and get a clean look.

Really, it's surprising, but removing them makes a bigger difference than can be expected logically.

Shop?? No shop needed, brother. How far is Lakewood from North Hollywood? I can drop in this weekend and help you out. It's a cake. Just a matter of jacking the car up and threading some bolts.

Lakewood is near the Long Beach airport. I was thinking about doing myself since I have a lift at my work. I want to have the alignment checked after lowering however. Also want to take some measurements first since I'm running a 325 tire on the rear.

Up to you, man. My offer stands. Alignment is smart. The lowering is a 30 minute job. Strangely, its easier to do on the ground in my opinion. Hard to explain, but it has to do with getting some weight under the spring to relieve a-arm pressure on the bolt pad, allowing it to thread easier. Shoot me a pm if you want to tackle it Saturday.

The offer is appreciated and I will give it some thought. Might be able to do it at my work since we have a lift there as well. That way we have two options. Not a bad idea to have someone there who has done it before as well.
