Corvettes Win 2 Classes at LeMans
The Corvette Racing Team wins GTE-Pro Class at Le Mans! A private entry Corvette (last year's C6R model) wins the GTE-Am class.
The Corvette Racing Team's #74 Corvette, with Jan Magnussen driving, had a problem with a slower GTE-Am (class) Porsche (in the Corvette Corner!) and crashes, taking the car out of the race in the 16th hour, after leading the class for 15 hours or so. The then-2nd place car, a Ferarri, takes the lead until reported clutch problems slow the Ferarri enough for the then-2nd place #73 Corvette to pass in the last hour of the race. -Clark
