93 or 91 octane?

Anything you pay for going over 91 octane is just wasted money.

I would not pay anything for 93 over 91. I would pay 10% for the difference of 91 over 87. I would pay 20% for the difference of no ethanol over gasahol. I would not use "the cheapest gas I can find" for any price.

if you have advanced the timing on your car or raised the compression, no arguement, but for the rest of us, your car does not have feelings, you are not treating it to anything

buying your car higher octane is not a treat, it's all in your head
BTW, the 91 octane I buy is Shell, the 93 that is available is BP, for those of you who that makes a difference

I would not spend $.10 for 93 over 91. But the point is moot where I am. Premium is 93 whether I like it or not. On the happy side though, the price is no more than 91 at other stations and brands.
