What is the difference between "Launch Control, & Traction Control...
I know that Traction Control will cut power and prevent rear wheel spin on a hard launch... What is better about Launch Control ??
As you say, Traction Control intervenes to prevent wheel spin. It's designed to prevent loss of traction.
Launch Control is designed to consistently launch the car as quickly as possible (even though it's not quite as fast as professional drivers) and will allow some wheel spin. To do so, the system analyzes ambient conditions, etc. and modules engine torque one hundred times per second. It's standard on all 2010+ manuals and is activated by selecting Competitive Driving Mode, flooring the gas pedal and sidestepping the clutch.
