You bought a 2008 from a dealer on the other side of the country that had been sitting there for a few months, had "someone" check it out for you and on their ok, bought it. I am pretty sure there are some Chevy dealers near you that have some pre-owned 'Vettes for sale that you could have personnaly looked at and test drove. I know my local dealer has 2008's nearly all the time for around $33-34K and with nice mileage. Not faulting you, just relating how I would have proceeded. My $.02

Interesting, because I figured it was aftermarket however the dealer told me it was covered under warranty since it was factory installed.....hmmm...

Picked up the car finally this morning and it ran fine, no service xyz messages.
The car has the GM PAL IPOD system. It was tossing codes UO184 and B1000, there was a short on the Class 2 line.
The PAL module was replaced.

As soon as I get this sucker washed and wax I'll do the normal intro with pics.
