I thought it was 436 HP only if the dual mode exhaust was in the "wild" setting.

Remember on a unmodded NPP the flaps open at around 3500 RPM....LS3 are 436 with NPP in stock, unmodded form.

Well, yeah.
HP ratings are the max HP output. 436 HP is the max HP output. That occurs when the valves are open, peak power happening well over 3500 rpm and at full throttle. Below 3500 when the NPP valves are closed, I doubt either motor is making over 250 HP. So what was posted is accurate.
