Default Bra's

I'm planning a road trip in my 08' C6, Texas to Boise, ID and was wondering if a Bra will really help prevent dings and bugs. If so, any recommendations?

Thanks,

I have used stretch bras in the past. And really like I use for the drive and then remove. I have now purchased new and have bought new bra and planning to use a couple of layers of disposable film under it and the mirror bras as well. Hope this gives some ideal. I don't like the vinyl bras. I have used them in the past.

One thing people don't talk about is bras rub the paint and if you get dirt and stuff under them...well guess what that does. Bugs...shmugs...just wash them off....life is too short to worry about such things....just drive it. Have a fun trip.

You own a Corvette but worry about a few hundred dollars? You get what you pay for.

I don't run a bra for bugs as much as I do for ROCKS. BTW, if you clean your bra when you clean your car, it's not an issue. If you never take it off to clean it, YES you will have issues.

I bought the one from the dealer which is rugged and prevents rocks and bugs from damaging the car, used it on a long trip as you can see in the picture:

I've got an OEM one that I was thinking about selling. I put it on the car when I purchased it out of state and drove it the 1800 miles home. Took it off when I got home and its been in storage since. I am replacing my side markers this weekend and was going to pull the snaps off my car at that time. I am on my phone so I can't look up what I paid but I would take half what they run new if you are interested. If you are ok with a used one I will look up what I paid and let you know.

If you are going to do it, get the best.
