Default washer fluid

Silly question guys was checking my fluids today(11 Z06 1200miles)decided to top off the windshield washer fluid and it literally took a whole gallon plus and it still wasn't where I can see it! Does any one know the size of that damn reservoir??

I just did a search on my 2006 Manual pdf file and it doesn't mention the capacity. Must be more than a gallon. What I don't like is you can't visually check it!

I don't remember where I saw it but I recall seeing 1 gallon somwhere, other than this thread, that is. I have put nearly that much in mine when topping off.

My dealer keeps keeps the washer fluid full on all my cars. Makes it a little difficult for me to answer questions like this, but I'm not complaining.

I was just going to post that I have never used the washer fluid in the Vette. Can washer fluid get old and hurt anything?

They purposely put the reservoir as low as possible for weight distribution.

He may have had it converted to be used with an F/I system to cool the Inlet Air Temps.

It's what a lot of blower cars use. I'm one of them and I have never needed the windshield washer or wipers so I made the most out of a wasted space.

Some washer fluid has a little methanol in it to help dissolve bugs. Prestone has one that they call 'bug formula' or something like that.

Pure injected methanol drastically reduces IAT's under boost.
