Hatch Self Opening
In my 94 ZR1 the hatch opens fully when I press the open button. In my 08 coupe which I bought used the hatch only pops open and I have to manually raise it slightly to have it open fully.
Is my 08 hatch opening properly or have my hatch strut cyclinders weakened to the point of not opening the hatch properly?

Completely normal. The hatch will only pop open when you press the button then you need to open it the rest of the way yourself but it should go up by itself after you raise only a little bit.
