Default Valve stem covers.

Bought a new GS last Thursday. While detailing the other day, I noticed a rear silver colored plastic valve stem cap was missing. Anyone know where to just buy them? I really do not want to go back to the dealer.

Thanks

OEM...the dealer should just give them to you....new car

Walmart, Kragen et al would have some you may like, but won't match the OEM.

Others like Mid America have some w/ Corvette emblems on them.

I lost one of mine when I was doing hot laps at Talladega. If you find it, you can have it.

Any vendor on the forum that sells exterior mods will have them. Im on my 5th set. Seems the kiddies around here take them and put them on there bikes. so if you get a set make sure to tighten them down. but make sure the gasket inside is seated right. or else youll have a flat.

Just get the CHEAPEST plain metal or plastic ones from local Checker, O'Reilly, Kragen, etc.... the nice ones seem to just vanish. Logo ones on my last 2 Vettes, and the AMG ones from the M-B. "Cheapies" seem to last forever. YMMV

Kingdaddy, I do not know how you are attached or know the girl in your photo, but if she delivers, I will buy 1000 replacement valve stem caps. Z06Clif, I have some police issue stop sticks you can use, those bikes will go down and you can get your caps back (just give me one). Other than that, I will hit my dealership up and get one, or raise hell. Just bought a Grand Sport dammit, Give me a valve stem cap.

If the kids also let air out of your tires, consider a locking cap:

I taught high school and had to park in a common lot... put spin-caps on all my cars, never a problem. Be sure to get extra keys. And read their warning about corrosion & fusing of dissimilar metals... that is, chrome looks great, but can fuse to the aluminum valve stem. So, get the cheaper aluminum spin-caps.

He got the picture off the internet. I have the same damn poster hanging on my garage wall. Under the picture it says " Corvette - What Corvette?"

There seems to be alot of that here on the forum. People using internet picture of girls as their avatar, girls they don't even know.
