Window tinting
I was looking to getting my 07s windows tinted to reduce some of this New Orleans heat. I looked in my owners manual and read that tinting windows would make my GPS system fail. Any thoughts? Any personal experiences with that? I have the factory touch screen GPS radio. All help is always appreciated!

I have always tinted all my Vettes and there has been a lot of them.
NEVER had problem with GPS. Of course your not tinting the windshield???

Window Tint
Albuquerque gets lots of hot sunshine too (over 300 days of it). I have an appointment to have the black chrome tint by 3M installed. This tint is silver, which should reflect the heat much, much better than either black or copper color tints.
Before you commit to a tint installation, always get assurance that the tint of your choice is legal in your community. Removing an illegal tint would be a real waste.
