Default Floormat Question..

I am going to purchase some new mats, maybe the Lloyd's or something with the C6 logo embroidered in them, however I read on these forums about ALOT people having trouble matching the color to their interior... Mine is triple black 2006... Can anyone either confirm or deny, or flat out just help me out so I can just order once and be done with it altogether, pictures would be nice if possible... Thank You in advance.

I have seen 3 sets of Lloyds. They look fantasic. Feel nice to. Can't comment on matching colors. I just know I'll be ordering them.

Thanx for the help, it seems that the quality is definitely there but the millin dollar question is the color matching... I'm not gonna have a mismatch, I don't need them that much if that's the case... Thanx for the input though, hopefully someone else chimes in soon!

My ebony GS Lloyds mats do not match the ebony Corvette interior. In the dark, okay. In the sunlight, greenish. Partial sun, more of a gray. Other qualities are good, but Lloyd's can't seem to match ebony. I'll live with these, but search other vendor next time around.

Do a search. Much talked about. Unless they've found the cure, if you want ebony to match your interior, stay away from Lloyd's.

Ok, thanx for the input but if that's the case then what matches, is there a brand out there, cuz I haven't the faintest clue at this point?

I bought mats from Stratmosphere.

Not sure if they are still a Forum Vendor.

Excellent product, fit better than OEM, tight/dense embroidery and very good/perfect color match to my cashmere interior.

I don't care if they're a vendor or not, I'd prefer GM OEM but I dint think they make them, cuz I sure can find them... It seems Lloyd's has the market cornered, and they seem to be color blind in the process!! I'll look into those that you talked about, hopefully if GM does make some, we can figure out how to order a set or two!

Check with Gene Culley (GMPartsHouse) he can get you info on/sell you OEM and I believe he also sells Lloyds mats.

Great Forum Vendor with an excellent reputation and customer service.

Here's a link to Gene's Forum post about their July specials.

He lists/shows a Premium Floor Mat w/C6 logo and if you scroll down further, he explains that he is a Lloyd's Mats dealer.

I just received my Lloyd's floor and cargo mats last week. I also have a 2006 with black interior. I don't know of any other custom fit mats that have the official C6 logo other than Lloyds. The quality and fit is very good. But although the color description for the mats is Ebony, its not truly black black. To me its a very dark charcoal, which for me is close enough. Anyway true black may show the dirt more. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I ordered Lloyds mats with the C6 logo shortly after purchasing my 2008 JSB coupe Fantastic upgrade from the stock mats. I never noticed a color difference or perhaps I am not that particular. In any event I would buy the Lloyds mats again.

The mats are top quality. I've bought a set for each of my cars. In both cases though......the color does not match. I have tan in my Cadillac and those mats are a different shade. I have ebony interior in my Vette and the mats are jet black. If the color match isn't important to you they will be fine.

my Lloyd's hatch mat came out fine but the floor mats had a definite green tinge to them. it's also worth noting that a set of Lloyd's mats with logo for my T-Bird are sixty bucks, while the Vette's were well over a hundred....

Most of the mats are available in both black and ebony, as I recall. I purposely ordered the black mats for my Z06, because I wanted the darker color.

The lloyds mats have an almost purple tinge to them. They will not match exactly but still look great. I'll post a pic later so you can see the contrast.
