Default Mt. Washington, NH

Anyone done it? Any advice, tips for MN6? What gear did you use going up and coming down? Is it hard on the tranny? Should I take the cog instead? I'm traveling in the area and I'm thinking about doing it tomorrow morning. It was in the clouds and showers today but weather should be clear with low humidity tomorrow. It should be a nice view.

By the way, I did the Kancamagus Highway today! Topless

If you have the time definately do both. Two different experiences. Drove the auto road mostly in 2nd gear going up and 1st and/or 2nd to control speed going down to save the brakes,no problem beautiful views from the road.

I have done it a few times on a Harley with and without passengers. You won't have any problems at all.

I'd say do it in the car. It will be one of those experiences that you will never forget.

It is not a problem, you'll be fine.

I would love to do with my C6, but can't get there from here. Did it in 2002 in a Ford Explorer loaded with people and luggage.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the responses. I'm planning on doing it in the morning. I'll try to post some pics.

If the Corvette can go up Mt Evans at 14,000 ft, then Mt Washington will be no problem. It will be fun...enjoy! And post some pics...
