Default Front Spoiler

Purchased a 2009 C6 coupe (4,200 miles). When driving in town, front plastic spoiler (underneath) has tendency to drag or scrape. Took it to Chevy dealer. Low profile tires = 1 inch; suspension seems to be lowered may be additional inch lower. Any suggestions?

Typical for these things to touch on occasion on driveways, speedbumps, etc. No big deal.

Profile of the tires have no bearing on this, the overall diameter of the tire CAN.

Understand and agree with driveways, etc.. I'm even dragging with the dips in road, crown of road, etc. Thoughts?

Still quite normal.....earplugs or turn up radio, you are doing no damage to it.

someone may have lowered the ride height some, you dont need the special lowering bolts to lower some. My o5 seemed to be rubbing a bit more than it did when new. I raised the ride about 10mm with the stock bolts and it seems the drivers side was a bit lower than the pass side. As others have said some rubbing is normal.
Now think about this, you install a supercharger which requires the front rad support to be lowered about 1 inch plus some age on the car and you lower it some with the stock bolts, it will rub like crazy

The front air dam is a three piece unit. The middle section guides air up into the radiator. The outer two, which do most of the scraping, direct air into the brake cooling ducts. Unless your tracking the car, you probably don't need the outer two.
