Did some work today!
I started off taking the wheels off and cleaning the wheel wells. Cleaned the wells with de-greaser and soap / wheel brushes. Then finished off with 303 protectant.
Before:

After:

On to the wheels, they really needed cleaning in the barrels, as I don't think the previous owner ever cleaned them. They had a lot of baked on tar spots and left over wheel weight glue that I had to painstakingly remove.
Before (de-greaser dwelling):

Once they were clean, I threw on a layer of Rejex to keep them clean and shining!

Wheels done:

While I was in there I decided to clean the rocks out of my rocker panels... holy geez there was a lot accumulated in there!

And finally, I installed the GM splash guards:

Turned out to be a successful little afternoon project. It really makes a huge difference having the wheels perfectly clean inside and out. I'm extremely particular with detailing my Vette and I find it very rewarding once the job is finished and you can sit back and admire your hard work.
I'm also digging the GM splash guards...they look better than the painted ones that were on the car originally (you can see the old ones in the first pic)
Next project is to paint the calipers and lower the car on the stock lowering bolts. And then I can start on the front wheels!

Each time I wash I scrub where I can reach and it at least looks clean, but yours are terrific. I really need to go back and follow your lead.Really nicely done!
