Passenger Door Problem

My passenger door on my '05 Corvette dosen't always open from the inside when the release button is pushed so I replaced the interior button as well as the finger pad on the door, it's ok for a while than acts up again intermittly, to exit we pull up on the floor level which works fine. My question is: Is their a relay or solenoid inside the door panel that need's to be replaced. Thanks Tommy

If it is the solenoid, that is inside the door jam, not inside the door. Easy to get to...the screws are right there. You might pull it out and check the connections etc.

My 08 had the door actuator replaced recently.Press the button and the thing clicks,the window indexes but the door doesn't open.Put the actuator in and bingo,all fixed.

Same thing happened to my 09. Drivers side door. Dealer replaced the lock actuator and everything is good again.
