Default rejex

Hello all,I have been reading about this wax called rejex.I can't seem to find any in canada so i am going to order some from usa.I found online a site that shows a blue bottle with a red X on it.It states this is a paint treatment that needs twelve hours cure time for the first coat and eight hours each coat after that.Does this sound like the correct product, and any more details you can offer me is appreciated(ie how many coats can you put on ,and how often,,etc) Thanks in advance for any imput .regards..

Most people here swear by Rejex (you got it right) and Zaino.

I am an avid Rejex user and shine/finish always draws comments. Here is the web site for Rejex:
http://www.rejex.com/rejex.html

And the FAQ which will answer your questions:

http://www.rejex.com/rejex.html

I do the 24 hour regime... clean paint first- clay bar is a good starter; apply Rejex (key is to use sparingly...do not lather it on) on entire car and let sit for 24 hrs; polish off Rejex (is easy to remove and if not you have used too much) and apply another coat and let sit 24 hrs and then polish off. You can use a detailer of your choice...I use Meguiar's Final Inspection 34 (although I am experimenting with Wolfgang Concours Series Detail Spritz and am getting great results)>>

here you go

http://www.corrosionx.com/

rejex is made by Corrision-x and this is the direct link. We sell a bunch of this stuff in the oil business, the corrision-x product.

I can vouch for Rejex. Took my first road trip since applying this spring. Have not had to wash the car until now (California car duster and quick detail). Ran through some fresh tar and had specs all over the rear end. I was thinking that I've have to do the WD-40 trick but I was EXTREMELY HAPPY to find out that 99% rinsed off with just water, the other 1% came off with a light wipe of the wash mit. Rejex is the bomb and works as advertised.

Check out TruValue Hardware stores if you have them around. They carry Rejex on the shelf.

Rejex is great stuff. I love it!!! Lasts forever. Not trying to start a war here (I'm sure this will) but Zaino is wayyyy to much work for less results in my book. Rejex is great and if you want a little more shine throw some wax ontop of the Rejex.

You car looks fantastic. Love the blue.

FWIW according to the Rejex website you just need to let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping off. Apparently the stuff is forgiving.

Here's the quote and link...

"RejeX should be applied to a cool (less than 85° F) dry surface out of direct sunlight. If the surface is too hot, the coating will cure before it has properly bonded to the surface, and it won’t perform up to its potential. RejeX is wiped on, allowed to dry to a haze for approximately 20 minutes, wiped off, then allowed to cure for 12 hours."

It is a great product, and easy to use. I swear by it and will keep on using it. You will LOVE the results if you use it correctly.

You never know what might come in contact with your paint, even at a cruise-in. Rejex protected me from this...

Could have been ugly if something stuck!
