Those help the most but they don't make any for the GS or ZO6. We have to go with a stretch bra which is lighter and not as protective. There is Speed Lingerie ($$$$ though).
Just ordered Speed Lingerie bra for my Torch Red GS Vert. Victory Red arrived though so it is going back Monday. It looks like a fantastic product. Yes it is pricey but it blends in with the Corvette for most colors. I was real impressed with the quality of the bra that did arrive. I thought about a GM bra since it is a few hundred cheaper but I don't like having a black nose cover on a red car. With the speed lingerie bra you can barely tell it is there moving at speed. Supposedly it'll hang on to the car up to around 150mph also.

I have a 3M clear bra. This bra does not show up in a photo, but it is there and does offer more protection than those shown in the photos. I opted to cover the front from the top of the headlights all the way down. It also has coverage for the exterior mirrors. I have not noticed any orange peel, discoloration, or other detracting features.
Check with your local tinter and he can show you a Clear Bra installed, seems the best way to go after seeing so many posts about it ...
Thanks, I wasn't sure who to call locally regarding a clear bra. I will check with the local tint shop to see if they've had any experience installing one. What should I expect to pay if I go this route?

Manufacturer. Rich (the owner) is a stand up person. I checked many vendors and all were the same price as more so I went with the manufacturer.
I have owned clear bra before on my 08 C6. I won't mention product names but one scratched too easily (you do want to get the bugs off quick also) and the other installer was an idiot. It is also about just as expensive as the speed lingerie. I like the ability to remove the bra such as at a car show.
I would never put the bra on the front car that looks like the engine is trying to suck in enough air. I've heard of them overheating if they get wet.
GM's bra is ok but it is black and stands out on any car including some blacks. While they are cheaper IMO (I have seen both in person), Speed Lingerie is many times better and more likely to last a long time.
I just bought one on Ebay for $40. Clear stick on type that you have to spray soapy water and use a hair drier. It covers front bumper of the car above the air vent, mirrors, bottom 1/3 of hood and side near the hood/headlights. My husband and I did the mirrors then I did the front bumper myself. It is no joke putting that on. All three pieces that we did took a total of about 5 hours. I really didn't think it would work but it did and looks great. Plus for $40 you really can't beat it to try.
Look, I really don't like the way the bra looks and after driving on several long trips I can only assume it help stop stone and other debri chips. Sure, the Speedline's are nice...but, really expensive and sand and dirt in heavy rain will work under them too if you drive thru it on a long trip...which I have. This picture is my car, a week after driving to the OCMD Corvette weekend. This was taken at Englishtown at the Corvette Challange and it's a GM bra with the mirror bra-ett's. All together they cost me a total of $ 124.00

Thanks for all of the responses to this thread. With a silver vette I think I'd actually like the look of the black bra. I do have concerns about debris getting between the bra and car though.

I had a Colgan bra on a Blade Silver C6. Looked good with the silver paint and fit very nicely. Cost LOTS less then the SL and served the same purpose. Just don't leave it on all the time. Road trips only and car must be clean when installed.
