A buddy of mine is about to buy a 2011 GS. The car is exactly what he wants (MN6, Cyber Gray, Heritage w/ silver stripes, NPP, 2-tone Titanium, NAV, Chrome Wheels, 3LT, Transparent Roof).
The issue is the car, which has 20 milkes on the odometer and has been on the showroom floor, has a scratch in the hood that will require a repaint caused by a woman's pocketbook while in the showroom.
There are very few CG cars with this equiptment and he wants the car, but how concerned should he be with the repaint? Will Cyber Gray be easy to match?
The car's MSRP is $67K and they will sell it for $53K.
They are going to have to make the repair to sell the car. DO NOT have him sign and purchase the car BEFORE the repair is completed. Insist that the repair be made, then inspect and purchase (don't even put a deposit on the car). Do not accept "no problem, we'll take care of that later" line. FWIW. Good luck! let us know what happens.....

The glass glitter(Xirallic) used in the Cyber Gray paint, and also the Crystal Red Metallic, has not been available since the plant that made it in Japan was heavily damaged in the earthquake. That is the reason neither of those two colors are available on the C6 for 2012.
If the local automobile paint shop that supplies your dealer doesn't have the proper glitter on hand, I would be worried that they might try and substitute another metallic glitter and the resulting repaint might not look correct viewing the hood at different angles. In the shade, you can't see the blue glitter, but in the sun, it really shows up. I would be worried that the repaint would not have the same look in the sunlight.
CG is easy to make match, my buddy with his 2010 Camaro had his rear bumper replaced and he got a perfect match and did not leave the car only a new bumper to be redone
I also purchased the Ron Fellows style spoiler from GM after the fact and it is a perfect match
