I do not track my GS, which is important when considering brake pads.
My car is a 2011 and I am sick of the brake dust. Just kills me. I've used Armoral to no avail. I've rejexed the wheels, waxed the wheels, etc... Brake dust is crazy.
As most have said to do, I am going to switch to Hawk pads. The question is which ones?
HPS or Performance Ceramics? I don't want to lose braking performance.

Input please.
that's easy! You get the ones that say carbotech 1521
HPS is a little less dusty than stock Z06 pads (I'm guessing the same pad is used on the GS)? but they have a bit less initial bite. They can take some light track use too. HP+ are extremely dusty and not quiet at low speeds. (but the hp+ are a better street tire track pad) -Dan
The HPS would be great for this. I have the Performance Ceramic on my Camaro and I just put some of the Performance Ceramic on my sisters vehicle and they do make a noise every once in a while. It is slightly irritating, but no dust. The HPS do not make any noise.
