I popped the hood the other day, and an old maple seed slid down into the engine compartment. Anyone know how to pull a motor?

I removed mine the other day. Had to change the tire, and do an oil change. No wonder dealers charge so much for oi changes.

Wow, this makes laconiajack seem soo good.

yeah, right. body color was changed, how would you paint the engine bay without removing it?

You want help then how about giving us more than a "one liner" explaination about the engine work.

Details will help us help you.

Who did the work?
Why did the engine come out (details)
What year vehicle, model?
Do other electronics work?
More details, better help!

Then he would have had to pull out EVERYTHING. And that narrows the problem down to ANYTHING. Or any possible combination of things. Good luck fixing that.

The real issue at this point seems to be a lack of participation??? I mean where is the OP or did I miss something again?

I believe in order to remove the engine from the car the whole drive-train-suspension system must be separated from the chassis, the opposite of the installation at the factory. When the clutch in my C5 was replaced; every thing south of the flywheel had to come off.
