Default Installed 08 and up radio bezel in my 06!

I just installed a brand new radio bezel in my 06 Z and it makes the interior feel much nicer than the grey piece. Here's a crappy cellphone pic:

Oh and I picked up the brand new bezel for $299. This place said they have a bunch of them. You can PM me if you would like there info as they are not a vendor here.

It makes a huge difference. I did the same thing with my '05 and couldn't be happier. From the pic it looks like you already switched out the e-brake handle and boot. What about the shifter boot? Did you replace it with a leather one when you swapped out the bezel? Any plans to do anything with the instrument panel button pods?

I swapped out the shifter boot and **** when I did the ebrake and console cover.

I would like to change the instrument panel buttons. Not sure how I want to do it though.

Here's one option (from DS Vettes):

I'm afraid to ask, how much labor was involved?

How does the color of the leather on the bezel match the color of the 06 dash?

Should be a perfect match. BTW, the trim on the bezel isn't genuine leather (unless he had it modified); it's imitation (often referred to as "pleather").

The match looks great as it's an OEM piece. And I haven't had it modified so it's still pleather but it looks a lot better then the grey plastic.

The labor isn't too bad at all. About 30 minutes. The hardest part is getting the stupid wires unplugged.

30 minutes for the install?

You just cost me $500 because I'm going to order the '08 center for my '07 C6. Actually you just cost me $1000.. because I might as well pick up the $500 Pioneer App radio and install that too while I have the dash off..

Looks awesome man!

As long as you're going to have it apart anyway, you might as well replace the shifter and e-brake boots with stitched leather ones from DS Vettes!
