Default Grand Sport traction control

GS A6. When you turn traction control off, does it start in 2nd gear. I was at the track tonight running with it off, and it didn't seem to leave as hard as it does on the street.

With traction control off and selector in D or S but not in paddle
mode you are set to leave in first. If you put the car in paddle mode
and say did a burn out, once you shift into second or above it will only
automatically downshift to second(must paddle shift down to get to first).
If your car hooked and your 60fts were 1.90 to 2.1 then it left
in first(assuming stock car and converter). If you hooked and
left in second your 60fts would slow up approx half a second.

What were your 60 fts. What Track?

Gary

Does the Grand Sport have a different traction control than the other C6? I don't think so.
