Programing Fob
Well, I lost my only programmed fob, and trunk lid key.
I just spoke with my dealer, and they have a blank trunk lid and are going to cut it for me today. I also have a spare fob which I was going to program this weekend until my keys disappeared.
Question - can I program the fob without a recognized fob?

Yes. You must use the long procedure. Here's a link to that procedure.

These should be the same instructions that begin on the right side of page 2-7 in your 2006 owner's manual and are continued on page 2-8.
All fobs previously programmed for your car will no longer work.

Might as well get some spare trunk keys, too.
Very cheap. I paid about $6 at a local key shop. Tell 'em to use key blank B-106; same for a Saturn car, so widely available.
