That was the only thing I didn't like about my coupe. It would squeak randomly but the grease took care of it.

I've got a 2007 Z-51 with the tinted top. The top creaks and pops whenever I drive the car. Especially the front left corner. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, have you found a fix? Thanks

Here , at last there is someone the same problem !
This is the 6 th time that mechanics test corrected the problem and they are not capable.
I do not know what to do, because it's really noisy !

I bought the car used from a Chevy dealer, so I had a warranty. I took the car to the dealer and they did the new mounting brackets. The top was still noisy.
I read the TSP carefully and the trick for me was to clean the rubber thoroughly with soap and water. Actually Windex did the job. Then apply Super Lube to all the rubber and rub it in good with your fingers, also put some on the metal pins front and rear.
I had tried Super Lube before and it didn't work because I didn't clean all the rubber thoroughly.(that is the trick). I have been riding around for about a month and the top is dead quiet.

Someone passed out E clips at our club meeting a year ago. I took a pair but had not had the problem.
In a couple of months it started popping so on went the e clips.
Problem solved.

seems to go away in mine when the weather cool downs or if I don't remove the top for a while - never tried to waste my time by getting the dealer to try fixing it
