Has anyone tried to take the fiberglass bags out of there stock mufflers? I read you can cut a hole out on mufflers and take this stuffing out and weld back your exhaust? If so, how does it sound and would it give you alittle more HP? Would you suggest this? Or wait till I can buy Corsa or Borla?

Here's the long thread on modifying the stock muffler. Forget about any HP gains. Gains are negligible, and really more for marketing purposes.
