travette... GT1 on cover of CM is a black coupe, but which # is it? Didnt see VIN anywhere in article. Says its one of only 3 made with 4LT package. Anyone know which are the other two? Would be good to note this in listing.
BTW.. if you haven't read this article its good press for the GT1 cars. Picture on cover... 3 page story inside. Calls them out as unique/rare and explains why they were built. And notes same thing I've seen repeatedly at car shows.. people are not aware of these cars and dont know about them. I've even had multiple comments of 'hey..who did your paint/graphics work??' And some of these are Corvette owners!!

I believe the car on the cover is #111 1G1YG26W795400040 West Palm Beach, FL. The car was also at the Sebring race. I take pics of vin #sof everyone I see. I will check this weekend to confirm. Off to the museum to represent 2009 corvette in display for 60th.

Considering the relative rarity of her 2009 Corvette, this owner was loathe to modify it—but given her day job, she had little choice but to broaden its horizons.

Yellow#40 ZO6 was sold at the Mecum Auction at Bloomington Gold last Saturday in Champaign, IL. We had it listed as being in Nebraska - this was confirmed by seller who I talked to. Car had 1900 mi and sold for $66m, plus buyers premium.... or roughly $70m.
I didnt notice who bought the car. Anyone else pick up where its new home will be?

Good job with watching these cars. The Yellow #40 Z06 has a new home here in Maryland Heights MO with us. It actually had 1700 miles on it until it was driven home Saturday evening it now has 1865
Seen the car at the auction the rest is a blur, hour later driving the car to Maryland Heights.
Would Like to be included in any events that these great cars participate in.
Just found this thread two days ago was planning to update the Roster this weekend with Yellow #40's new home

I went, but didn't drive my GT1, drove my 2010 Grand Sport instead which is a good thing because ended up having a deer run into it on Rt 22 in NY on Friday night heading back to the motel.
I did bring my GT1 Fuel Rail covers and got one signed by Doug Fehan and the other signed by Harlan Charles. Getting a nice collection of signatures on these things. Now I just need to get Jordan Taylor and Richard Westbrook who weren't at Lime Rock.

If you don't have the leather wrapped interior with custom stitching, it's not a real GT1.
The only real option available was to get Navigation or not, otherwise they came pretty much fully loaded.

Hope all is well, I did go to Lime rock Park in Friday. Had an awesome time, no crowds what so ever. I didn't take the GT1 instead I drove my 2012 Caddy CTS coupe. (I thought since the CTS were racing I would to the flagship car) I do plan on going to Corvette by the sea in RI. and take it to Carlisle, Pa @ the end of Aug.
Take care, hope to see you soon. Kevin
