Hello Corvette Lovers,
My first post. I bought this car yesterday. My first Corvette, woo-hoo.
I pick it up today, it needed to go through the detail shop and safety certified. it was on the lot 1 day.
Test drove it for about 45 minutes, ran great.
I kept my 2015 Camaro 2SS/RS, now to get both of them into the garage.
Hope to contribute and enjoy.

No, I could not sell it for what I thought it was worth so just traded it on something else.

Sorry to quote myself here.
I have had the car home now for about 10 days. GT1 VIN # 300006, stock. I cant find anything on it that is not factory original. My thoughts and questions are, do i add something like headers, or add small touches to the interior, add a cold air intake and other mods? I know some things add performance and styling looks, some things add value, some detract value. I have a heavily modded 2015 Camaro 2SS, some people think it is right, some don't. I know it is my car and the hell with everybody else, but I hate making stupid mistakes and I am new to the corvette world. Any thoughts or ideas on the process or idea would be welcomed. Thanks.

Hello,
I came across a GT1 while shopping, a friend has a black coupe, he might sell it, priced at mid 30's with 30K miles, does it worth that much? I put an offer on 13 GS that has the same mileage and priced at $4k less, Am I paying $$7-$9K on top of regular 09 just for the bragging rights or there is more to it?

Regards,

I would say something is only worth what you are willing to pay for it. Do what makes you happy and be comfortable with it. Both cars you are looking at have positives. I love the look of the GT1 cars but a Grand Sport has some features that a standard coupe doesn’t have. Tough call...go with your gut instinct.

Hi travette,

I don't recall who or why I updated that years ago and went digging to see if I could find a reference. I wouldn't do it for no reason so I must have been email or messaged about it's location. No clue if it's still there or not.
