Good day all,
I just placed my order for a set of led replacement bulbs, (mirror, footwells, glovebox, rear cargo, under hood, rear plate etc..). I have read several threads where a resistor was needed due to the minimal draw of the led's. Is this a universal situation, or not true of newer c6's. I'm in an 11 GS and figure I would order the resistor if It's going to be a prerequisite for a smooth installation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated !
Depending on what you ordered NO resistor should be necessary. I did the same conversation and nothing was needed but the LED light... Best to ask your vendor if anything is required..
every single light bulb in my car other than low and high beams is led. i have no resistors or anything extra. my turn signals do flash fast, but i dont mind (i think it gets people attention easier)
mainly people were complaining that mirror lights were staying on lil longer since led draw less power takes longer to ''bleed down''
LEDs are an easy and nice mod. Replaced all of mine except the tail and headlights. The red LED footwell strips that JWM sells on the site made the biggest difference, they look awesome at night when you open the door. No problems whar so ever with any of them.
